The PAN solar tile – beautiful, flexible, and full power

The perfect symbiosis
of clay tiles and photovoltaic technology

Suitable for our  Solar-F (ZR) flat sliding tile; available in 8 colours

Our PAN solar tile is a combination of a clay roof tile and photovoltaics. The output per module is 32 Wp. Hence the power output per m² of tiled roof is 96 Wp.

For comparison purposes: A family of four consumes an average of between 3500 and 6000 kWh of electrical energy per year, for which 45 to 80 m2 of solar tiles are required.

Simple, convincing principle

The system is unique world-wide, aesthetically unbeatable, and can be installed in the roof unlike any other photovoltaic solution. The principle is ingeniously simple: a small solar module is mounted on each individual clay roof tile. No special screw connection is required. The solar module consists of monocrystalline cells for optimum efficiency. The solar cables are laid under the roofing. These are not visible from the outside, and are protected from UV radiation. The finished appearance is one of a uniform, aesthetic roofscape. PAN, “the aesthetic alternative to traditional solar roof panels”.

With this system you are putting in place a mark of sustainability, and making an important contribution to a beautiful townscape.

Easy to install

The installation is carried out simultaneously with the laying of the new clay tiles – without any additional tools. No holes are drilled in the clay tile roof and no other installation aids are used: the roof remains 100% sealed. No special ventilation for the solar tiles is required as rear ventilation ensures that clay tile roofs maintain a balanced roof climate at all times.

Also suitable for structurally demanding roofing landscapes

Thanks to the flexibility of our Panotron solar tile, it is especially suitable for complex roofs with obstacles such as skylights, dormer windows, chimneys and oblique roof angles. It is a good solution for both new constructions and for replacing old roofs.

7 good reasons for using the Swiss PAN solar tile

– efficient, aesthetically discreet system
– modular and expandable
– easy, quick installation
– roof remains completely accessible
– hail-resistant photovoltaic modules
– a genuine alternative to traditional photovoltaic solutions
– high subsidies for solar energy thanks to the roof-integrated system

Individual Solar: the Solar-F (ZR) flat sliding tile developed specifically for the PAN solar module, is available in 4 colours.

Even more power: the FIT photovoltaic solar module

There is no simpler, better or more effective way to harness the power of the sunshine. FIT is an enhancement of the well-established Panotron solar module FIT. As the name suggests, the output per module is 52 Wp or 156 Wp/m2. The new system has an improved output of 16% in terms of its operation – meaning more power which you can use for 1x longer surfing, washing, cooking, hearing, cooking or charging. Take advantage of the benefits of the Panotron solar module FIT. No other photovoltaic system combines flexibility, aesthetics, power and simplicity at this level.
